This work want to break the boundaries of cliché and show that behind the outwardly rough-appearing aspect there are different people who have a story to tell. The appearance and practices they engage in are intimidating in the eyes of the beholder because they exude masculinity, toughness, and dominance. But do these people really convey fear to those unfamiliar with the world of fetishism, or is it not rather the stereotype, in our eyes, that does so?
Perhaps, like everyone else, they are just looking for approval, affection, companionship, or sex. And fetishism is the way to achieve it.
